St Mary ~ Mary Immaculate Cemetery Administrators
and Kathy Flynn, Researcher speak about the cemetery.
Kathy Flynn is writing the history of the cemetery with the assistance of the Jacobs. The project is being funded by the McCarthy Trust to document this incredible site in Lawrence.
Learn more about the cemetery - its history, the location of significant areas and gravesites; the various grave marker types and grave marker contractors.
What did the WPA do during the recession regrading the cemetery?
What types of military markers were placed on the graves?

December 9, 2008 The Assassination of Lincoln

Lincoln Food Building was dismantled in 2008. Filmmaker,Lorre Fritchy,depicts the dismantling of the 108-year old Lincoln Foods mill building in Lawrence, MA throughout 2008. A portion of the take-down was also filmed for Fritchy's movie Millies, now in pre-production.
Visit the exhibit to witness the haunting beauty and rubbled remains of history as Lincoln falls, brick by brick.
Opening Reception: Monday, December 8. 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
Free. Public Welcome.
