Diane Pitochelli ~ Artist, LHC Member, and Volunteer
Diane Pitochelli, a long time member and volunteer of the Lawrence History Center, has passed away. Diane was involved with the Center while Eartha Dengler was Director.
PhotoCollage of "Mills Along the Merrimack" undated.
Eartha writes, "Diane was a beautiful, talented person - and early in the ICA's history she helped with the first ICA brochure. It was the old map of Lawrence, MA and the history of the city."
Diane was a believer in the Archives from its very early days. Her artistic talent helped advance the story and the mission of Eartha's dream - the Immigrant City Archives.
Without volunteers and believers like Diane the History Center would never have reached its 30th birthday or achieved the relevance it has today to the greater Lawrence community. We are very grateful for Diane's support, interest and talent. She will be missed.
