"Collective Voices" Bread and Roses Commemorative Video from LawrenceHistoryCenter on Vimeo.

The year 2012 marked the centennial anniversary of the Great Lawrence Strike of 1912, popularly known as The Bread and Roses Strike. To commemorate this pivotal moment in labor history, many organizations joined to form the Bread & Roses Centennial Committee. The committee was dedicated to coordinating events, marketing and outreach to celebrate the strike that drew attention to the important issues of unequal distribution of wealth, child labor and workplace safety. With original footage, the inspiring video "Collective Voices" tells the story of this important moment in our collective history.
